If you have original (oe) tyres fitted to your bike always follow the motorcycle manufacturers recommended
tyre pressures.
If you are using another tyre manufacturers brand of tyre always use that manufacturers
recommended tyre pressure.
When new tyres are fitted they should not be subject to maximum power, abrupt lean-over or hard cornering
until a resonable run-in distance of at least 100 miles in dry weather has been covered. Check and adjust inflation pressures
to recommended levels at least three hours after the tyre has cooled down following run-in.
If it is raining when you have new tyres fitted slowly drive home, put your bike away until it is
dry.
After having a puncture repaired you must run the tyre in for at least 24 hours at no more than 40mph.
After run-in do not exceed more than 60 miles per hour
Do not put tyre sealants in motorcycle or scooter tyres as you may invalidate the warranty of your
tyres. If in doubt contact your tyre manufacturer.
